About Ashley

Born and raised in Sarasota, FL, my childhood was spent playing softball, and I spent my first year at the University of Florida on the rowing team. Soon academics consumed my life and I quickly found myself at Ohio University completing my master's degree and Ph.D. in Mass Communication. I landed a tenure-track professor position at the University of Memphis in the fall of 2013...I had made it! But deep down, I knew my calling was not academia and facing that head on was one of the hardest things for me to do.

In December 2014, I followed my heart and took a leap of faith. I quit my academic job and moved to Los Angeles to begin a new chapter and to find my true calling and passion in life. I began eating nutrition dense foods, training every day and falling in love with the calisthenics movement. My body transformation was rapid, and I loved how confident and strong I felt in my own skin. I spent the next four years as a personal trainer at Equinox Beverly Hills, where I had the privilege of working and learning from the best in the business and training some celebrities too!

After the birth of my son in January 2019, I moved back to my hometown and started teaching group fitness classes at Orangetheory Fitness and doing personal training with clients at their home gyms. I have dedicated the past eight years to learning, growing and becoming the best personal trainer in the area.

I have found my purpose in life, and it is to show people that having a fit lifestyle does not mean giving up on things you love, completely changing your lifestyle or achieving one certain aesthetic. Being a healthier version of you comes in all forms, sizes and shapes. My goal is to help motivate others to be fit, healthy and confident in their own bodies by serving as an example of someone who makes her health a priority while still living a fun, balanced mom life.

With my three-pronged approach to health and wellness, I guide my clients as they choose habits that snowball into long-term behavior changes that will make a lasting impact on their goals. Your results come from within you! I just help create the pathways for you to achieve them.

My fitness certifications include CPT, Group Fitness, Fit For Birth Pre & Postnatal Holistic Coach, Level 1 Precision Nutrition, StrongFirst (kettlebells!), Triggerpoint Therapy, Animal Flow, & TRX.
